Invisibobble hairhalo we’re Ornament to be adjustable headband review…

Hey my little Brushaflies and welcome back to my blog, Brushafly Mua 🦋 Today’s blog post is about the Invisibobble hairhalo we’re Ornament to be adjustable headband review (wow that was a mouthful lol). So I found this on sale in my local Boots store for £2.50, RRP is around £7.99. I was lucky enough that I had £2.75 worth of points on my Boots card, so I decided to just buy it using my points, so really and truly for me it was FREE lol. But, was it a good freebie?

So, Invisibobble are the brand behind the amazing yet weird plasticy, bendy, see through hair bands that are meant to be good for your hair because they don’t tangle, get caught, tug or pull. I personally found in my hair that they didn’t go tight enough to sit properly (I do have annoying hair) but I do know other people who love Invisibobble, Victoria Magrath from In the Frow is one of them as she put them in her Feelunique x In the Frow Jetsetter collection the other year. So when I saw this pretty little head band that says it can do some amazing tricks, I was intrigued.

So, what does the headband claim?

  • To be adjustable
  • One size fits all
  • High wearing comfort
  • Comfortable all day long
  • Traceless
  • Durable
  • Hair loving

Basically the headband can be moved around to change the shape, you can squeeze it to make it skinnier for smaller heads, or pull it to make it wider for bigger heads (sorry I didn’t exactly say that right but not sure how else to put it) but you can move it around to create the best fit for you. The material is plastic which is shaped into zigzags, to make the zigzags softer on your hair they are wrapped in a soft ribbon. For decoration my one has big pearl like beads inbetween each zigzag. The bits that sit behind your ear have a nice, long, elongated rectangle shape which when on feels quite comfortable and they too are wrapped in ribbon.

But how does it wear?

I’m so used to wearing a tighter headband that this felt really light, sometimes a bit too light that I had to keep checking it was still there and looking fine. But it was comfortable. I did like how you can adjust it because I do have a slim / skinny head lol, which over the years has meant finding a headband that fitted properly was like trying to find a needle in a haystack, I would always get the annoying looking gaps at each side of my head and they wouldn’t grip my hair properly. Then I would find smaller ones and they would hurt my ears, so either way, it was a loosing battle. At least with this one I can make it fit my head.

Overall I like this headband a lot, I feel it works well, does what it says on the box. I would prefer it a little tighter but otherwise its great. I adore the decoration on it, it looks glam but it the type of headband that can go with any outfit. It didn’t leave marks on my hair which meant changing my hairstyle during the day was quite easy to do. The quality feels nice and it feels expensive not cheap. Would definitely recommend.

So yes, this was definitely a good freebie, it was also good for £2.50 but I also think £7.99 is not a bad price for it either, and if they do other designs I might be tempted to buy more in the future. Definitely a bargain!

I hope you enjoyed my blog post about the Invisibobble hairhalo we’re Ornament to be adjustable headband. If you did why not follow my blog and keep up to date with all things makeup and beauty. Take care my Brushaflies and speak soon xoxo
