Happy National Fragrance Day…

Hey my little Brushaflies and welcome back to my blog, Brushafly Mua šŸ¦‹ Today’s blog post is about today’s national day in the beauty world… National Fragrance Day!!! So get your perfumes at the ready peeps, no one can smell bad today!!!

So, what is National Fragrance Day?

National Fragrance Day is a day to celebrate the awesome perfumes and scents you adore. Whether it be a golden oldie in your collection you have loved and used for years, or one you have newly added to your collection or one you have a sample of and love and is on your perfume wish list.

Fragrance has always played a part throughout history, from Rose water to Coco Chanel, it has helped build huge perfume powerhouses such as Chanel, YSL, Dior, Marc Jacobs, Calvin Klein,Ā  DKNY, Gucci, Escada, Elizabeth Arden and many more… Then we have pop superstars that cash in on the whole perfume bonanza from Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and who could forget that ever lasting one engrained deep in my memory, Brittany Spears. A simple whiff of a certain scent can take you back in time to a childhood memory, make you remember someone from long ago or remind you of good and bad times.

To celebrate National Fragrance Day I am going to list here my favourite scents and perfumes…

  • Beyonce – Heat
  • YSL – Libre
  • YSL – Y
  • Caroline Herrara – Very good girl
  • Tom Ford – Black Orchid – I have a feeling this is the mens one but I absolutely adore this smell
  • Avon for her – Luck

My most favourite perfume EVER is…

YSL – Libre. This is my favourite perfume ever but it is soooooo damn expensive, so I always try to get samples of it, if and when I can. It has an Iconic orange blosson tone with an undertone of lavender and white musk. This is such a perfect fresh floral scent which gives me huge summer vibes.

So you know my favourite perfume, what is yours? And how will you be celebrating National Fragrance Day?

So I wish you all a happy national Fragrance day and hope you enjoy your favourite scents today.
