Revolution wild animal palette review – Courage…

Hey my little Brushaflies and welcome back to my blog, Brushafly Mua 🦋 Today’s blog post is about the Revolution Wild Animal Palette in Courage… This palette I got in the Revolution Valentines day gift set, which was free when you spent £35 on their website in February to celebrate Valentines day. I have done a full review on the gift set on my channel if you wanted to see the whole collection of things from the set (only thing is you cannot get the set now as it was a limited offer but everything in gift set you can buy separately) – Valentines day gift set review…

The Wild Animal Palette in Courage costs £10 on the Revolution website – Revolution beauty website – which is actually really good value for money especially when your getting 18 shades! 5 mattes, and the rest are shimmer shades but there does seem to be two different types of metallic formulas in this palette. You also get a large mirror which is always a must I think with eyeshadow palettes.

The colour story of this palette consists of:

  • Pinks
  • Burgundys
  • Bronzes
  • Browns
  • Golds
  • And a Green… The green does feel a little odd as it is a fairly pinky yet brown toned palette, but as it is considered wild, the green fits in fine as it has a wild forest feel to it.

All the shades are very pigmented, the mattes are soft and creamy and glide on well. The metallics are either super gorgeous and you can apply with a brush or a finger, or a couple need brightening up with a damp brush with setting spray but they all look absolutely stunning on the eye, and once applied they last for hours!!!

What did I ultimately think of this palette?

At first I was a little unsure about the look I had created and thought it looked a bit muddled and messy, but once I had my mascara on I feel in love with the cute pink eye look I had created. In the end, I found I actually really liked this palette and have used it a few times since and I have loved all looks created. I like the colour story and the range of looks you can play with, you can have a pink smokey eye, a brown smokey eye, a halo eye, a full metallic eye, a full matte eye look, a neutral eye with a pop of colour on the inner corner and even a neutral golden smokey eye look. There is a lot to choose from. I really like the formulas in this palette, they are super soft and creamy and easy to work with, they apply nicely and blend well and also layer up great. A totally fun and build-able palette.

I would definitely recommend this palette to anyone from:

  • Makeup lovers
  • Makeup collectors
  • Revolution makeup collectors
  • Makeup YouTubers
  • Makeup bloggers
  • A makeup beginner
  • Someone growing their makeup collection
  • Makeup artists
  • Anyone who enjoys a good palette…

So there is my review on the Revolution Wild Animal Palette in Courage, and it is definitely a win for me! I hope you enjoyed my blog post about it, if you did why not follow my blog and channel and keep up to date with all things makeup and beauty.
