Hey my little Brushaflies and welcome back to my blog, Brushafly Mua 🦋 Today’s blog post is about the superdrug tea tree overnight jelly mask. This was given to me by my little sister who tried it for her skin when it flared up with blemishes but she didn’t find it did much for her skin so she gave the rest to me, and I have to say, I actually really like it.
So this rather cool green blob of a mask (it basically looks like a tub of flubber… If you don’t know what flubber is then Google it hehe) smells a lot of tea tree, I don’t mind the tea tree smell but if you do, then this might not be a great product for you because it does really smell of it, plus along with tea tree it does include peppermint oils, witch Hazel and aloe vera, all of which are great ingredients for cooling your skin and helping to feel refreshed.
So you apply it to clean cleansed skin, you leave it to sink in for 10 or so minutes then gently rub in any excess that is left. It is said to be lightweight and cooling to help your skin feel refreshed after sleep… But does it work?!?
Well I said at the beginning of my post I liked this product, so I’m guessing you know my answer. Yes, it does work. I don’t get many blemishes but when I do (especially when I’ve been at work and worn my mask for hours, or if my Endometriosis is playing havoc with my hormones then my skin will hate me and look red, blemished and sore) I find this really helps to cool my skin, help dry out my blemishes because most of the ingredients in it are great for drying out blemishes and reduce my redness. When I first apply it I do get a slight tingle feeling but its nothing too horrendous and after a few seconds it subsides. It doesn’t sit too heavy and does sink into my skin and just leaves it feeling fresh and happy. I don’t use it all the time, obviously, I only use it when needed but I find it is a great product for when I need it.
Would I buy it again? Hell yes, this is now going to be one of my go to products that I want to keep in my stash to keep my skin feeling happy and chilled.
I hope you enjoyed my blog post about the Superdrug tea tree overnight jelly mask, if you did why not follow my blog and keep up to date with all things makeup and beauty. Take care my Brushaflies and speak soon xoxo
