Vogue Insiders – Elemis pro-collagen marine cream… Day cream review…

Hey my little Brushaflies and welcome back to my blog 😊 today I have a product review which was kindly sent to me free from the wonderful Vogue Insiders. If you don’t know who they are it is Vogue Magazine and they kind of have a beauty club, where if you match to a product they will contact you and send you a sample to test out and try. The sample I was sent was the ‘Elemis pro-collagen marine cream day cream’ and here are my thoughts on the cream…

The sample size sent to me was 5mls which gave me a good few days worth to test. I applied it after my serum and before my eye cream and face primer. It applied nicely and my makeup applied pretty much like normal, as it usually would with my normal daily moisturiser.

It had a nice subtle fresh scent which wasn’t too overpowering and soon subsided once I applied the rest of my makeup. It does say its meant to improve hydration, which I feel it did, it kept my skin feeling nice and hydrated all day until I took my makeup off. It also states its good for wrinkles or is Anti-wrinkle, which I can’t really comment on at the moment as I couldn’t see any difference, but then I only had enough for a few days use and also, I have a few fine lines but other than that my skin is not too wrinkly lol.

Overall I feel this is a lovely day cream and would recommend for dry skin types to keep it hydrated.

The only downside, the price point… Eeeek!!! 😅 Omg its expensive, it ranged from £65 – £85 depending on where you looked online, which isn’t cheap.

So although this is a great cream and I did enjoy my sample, I probably wouldn’t purchase it for the price point. Unless I saw it go right down in a sale of course. But for now, I’m going to stick with me No 7 creams lol.

Thanks for reading and catch up soon. Take care xoxo
